Old Port Plumbing, a South Australian owned and operated business based in Royal Park, is making it easier for households and businesses across Adelaide to get help when something goes wrong. The licensed and insured team delivers reliable plumbing, gas fitting and emergency plumbing across the city’s north-western suburbs, with every job backed by a 100% workmanship guarantee. For residents searching for a plumber who arrives on time, quotes honestly and cleans up afterwards, the business offers a refreshingly simple alternative.
Plumbing Help Without the Surprises
A leaking tap or a blocked drain rarely turns up at a convenient time, and many people delay calling a plumber because they fear hidden costs. Old Port Plumbing tackles that concern head on. The team visits the property, assesses the problem and provides a quote with no upfront call out fee. Pricing is transparent, options are explained in plain language and the work starts only when the customer is comfortable.
“Nobody plans for a burst pipe or a hot water system that gives up on a cold morning,” said a spokesperson for Old Port Plumbing. “Our job is to arrive when we say we will, fix the problem properly and leave the property exactly as we found it.”
From Blocked Drains to Gas Leaks
The business offers a full range of residential plumbing services, including blocked drain clearing for sinks, showers, sewers and toilet drains. Drain repairs, burst pipes, leaking taps, toilet installations and water filters are all covered, along with general plumbing maintenance. For older homes with ageing pipework, the team can assess whether pipe relining is a practical option before recommending more disruptive work.
Hot water is another core service. Technicians repair and replace hot water systems, and quick response times mean households are not left without a hot shower for long. Gas is handled in-house too. As specialists in plumbing and gas, the gasfitters install gas appliances, complete leak detection, carry out repairs and respond to any suspected gas leak. Having licensed gas fitters and gas plumbers under one roof means customers deal with a single team rather than juggling several trades.
Experience Behind Every Job
With more than 15 years of industry experience, Damian Thompson is committed to providing customers with practical and cost-effective plumbing solutions at Old Port Plumbing. Licensed for plumbing (PGE 359332) and builders (BLD 53735) and accredited for heritage works and asbestos. Professional affiliations include Master Plumbers.
The team also recommends routine plumbing maintenance. Adelaide’s hard water and tree roots can quietly damage pipes and drains over time and catching small issues early is usually much cheaper than repairing a failure. A plumber who understands local conditions can see those warning signs before it becomes a problem.
Ready When It Matters
Emergency plumbing is available around the clock, with the team servicing suburbs including Prospect, Port Adelaide, Semaphore, Henley Beach, West Lakes, Glenelg, Marion, Salisbury and Gawler. Customers can book online or by phone, and current offers include a 10% discount for pensioners and $50 cash back off the next visit. Recent clients have praised the team for same-day service, clear communication and tidy worksites.
For homeowners and businesses wanting a dependable plumber close to home, Old Port Plumbing combines local knowledge, upfront pricing and a guarantee on every job.
